This Bonfire Night, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool visitors can experience a fireworks projection powered by innovative 3D technology.
On 5th and 6th November, from 5pm-8pm, the iconic landmark will host Liverpool’s first ChromaDepth® 3D animation projected onto a Grade I-listed building.
Using Royal Albert Dock’s existing three laser projectors, the Maritime Museum façade will transform into an immersive experience. Carefully mapped colours and movement will create the illusion of fireworks and glowing embers with the well-known rhyme: ‘Remember, remember the 5th of November’.
The weather-proof ChromaDepth® 3D projection provides a zero-noise alternative to traditional pyrotechnics. The display has been designed to make the celebration more accessible for people with additional sensory needs and families with young children, while helping to protect local wildlife and respect the dock’s historic setting.
Visitors dining, drinking or shopping at the dock on 5th and 6th November can collect a pair of ChromaDepth® 3D glasses, which reveal the animation’s three-dimensional effects. A limited number of glasses are available at select venues, including:

About ChromaDepth®
ChromaDepth® is a 3D-viewing technology that creates a three-dimensional effect from two-dimensional images. It uses colour to represent depth, with warm colours appearing closer to the viewer and cooler colours receding into the background.
