From the team behind Liverpool’s Maray restaurants, The One O’Clock Gun is a pub that brings together all that’s best about old-fashioned hospitality, a great drink offering and the perfect pub grub to soak up the booze.
A collaboration with Liverpool’s Carnival Brewery has created a house Pale Ale, served alongside draught Guinness, wine on tap, and an imaginative cocktail list.
It also specialises in simple honest food like pies from Great North Pie Co., as well as snacks and sharing ‘beer food’ including locally-sourced cheese boards and charcuterie, and an amazing grilled cheese sandwich.
Named in honour of the dockside gun which was fired at 1pm every day from Morpeth Dock, signalling the start of lunch for thousands of city workers, The Gun is on a mission to be the most welcoming, vibrant and inclusive pub in Liverpool.
There’s live music and weekend DJs too, plus a range of newspapers and magazines to read while you sit back and enjoy the warm welcome. The One O’Clock Gun is open seven days a week from midday until last orders are called at around midnight.
