Madre, one of Liverpool’s most loved restaurants, is among the top 10 spots for al fresco dining in the UK.
According to a survey conducted by Betway, the Mexican restaurant came in fourth place, beating venues such as Hooked on the Rocks in Cornwall and Scott’s in London.
The survey was based on TripAdvisor rankings, Google reviews and Instagram followers, taking into account the venue’s atmosphere, customer service and cuisine.
The venue, nestled in Royal Albert Dock’s Anchor Courtyard, provides diners with a bountiful Mexican menu complete with tasty tacos and margaritas. Its al fresco space has become one of Liverpool’s most iconic suntraps, accompanied by colourful seating and tropical plants, transporting diners to the sunny streets of Mexico.
During summer months, guests can enjoy regular live music and DJ sessions in the courtyard, providing the perfect background soundtrack to enjoy whilst feasting and socialising with friends.
