Chicago Bears set to bring NFL action to Royal Albert Dock

The Chicago Bears will conclude their 2026 summer UK tour with a special fan-focused appearance at Royal Albert Dock on 21st June, continuing their mission to grow American football internationally and engage new audiences across the United Kingdom.

The tour, which has already included stops in Manchester and Loughborough, marks the fifth consecutive summer the Bears have travelled to the UK. The initiative is designed to make American football more accessible, inclusive, and engaging for young people and fans of all ages.

Fan pop-up event

On Sunday, June 21, from 11:00am to 6:00pm, the Bears will take over Anchor Courtyard at Royal Albert Dock for an action-packed fan pop-up event featuring meet-and-greets, photo opportunities and giveaways.

Fans will have the chance to meet current and former Bears stars, including defensive back Josh Blackwell, Bears legend Charles “Peanut” Tillman, and the beloved team mascot Staley Da Bear. The event will also feature a special appearance from a Liverpool FC legend alongside Mighty Red, the club’s official mascot.

Appearance schedule (subject to change)

  • Staley Da Bear: 11:00–11:30am, 1:00–2:00pm, 3:00–4:00pm, 5:00–5:30pm
  • Mighty Red: 1:00–2:00pm
  • Charles “Peanut” Tillman (Bears Legend): 1:00–2:00pm
  • Liverpool FC Legend: 1:00–2:00pm
  • Josh Blackwell (#39, Defensive Back): 3:00–4:00pm
