From watching modernised Punch and Judy shows to attending the world’s smallest picture house, there’s plenty to keep boredom at bay this summer.
Inspired by pantomime, watch modernised Punch and Judy shows suited to the whole family. Prepare yourself for rip-roaring laughter, plenty of “it’s-behind-you’s” and a very tasty string of sausages. With showtimes at 11:45am, 1pm, 2:15pm and 3:30pm throughout August, the free puppet performances take place in Anchor Courtyard.
The world’s smallest picture house is returning to the dock on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August. Located in Anchor Courtyard, attend a free screening in the vintage-style cinema between 11am-3pm, complete with usherette service, and tuck into a serving of delicious popcorn.
Liverpool’s iconic yellow and blue submarine will take pride of place on the Martin Luther King Jr Plateau on August bank holiday weekend. Complete with colour-changing lights, a bubble machine and visual effects, prepare for the ultimate outdoor dance floor with DJ sets, live performances and dancers.
