Barnacle

Serving up a curated menu from an eye-catching electric blue shipping container located on Gower Street, Paul Askew’s new street food container, Barnacle offers a mix of beloved favourites and exciting new additions.

Previously based in Duke Street Market, this exciting culinary venture offers dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Highlights include the Luxury Smash Burger – a Cheshire venison and pork patty topped with lettuce, red onion jam, cheese, and pickles -and Shrimp on Toast, featuring Southport potted shrimp on sourdough with Wirral watercress.

The indulgent Chicken and Caviar is set to become Barnacle’s signature dish. A succulent fried chicken breast, coated in Barnacle’s signature spiced buttermilk, is served with fresh lemon and a tarragon dipping sauce, with the option to add crème fraîche and a luxurious caviar topping.
