Two new venues have opened at Royal Albert Dock bringing exciting and different drinks and food options this summer.

The One O’Clock Gun, the first pub from the team behind Liverpool’s popular Maray restaurants, is one for lovers of craft ales, draught beers, cocktails and wine.

With the emphasis on old fashioned hospitality, it has a menu of hearty pub classics including Great North Pie Co pies served with creamy mash and rich gravy, locally sourced cheese boards and charcuterie, and amazing grilled cheese sandwiches.

Although it’s just arrived, The One O’Clock Gun on the Colonnades already has historic dock links – it got its name from the gun fired at 1pm every day to signal a lunch break for workers, which now sits on the quayside by the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

Perfectly timed for a packed calendar of sport, we’ve also welcomed The Long Shot to Royal Albert Dock.

Whatever you love to watch, whether it’s football, tennis, athletics or UFC, it will be showing them all on 13 giant screens. And you can cheer on your favourites with a fabulous cocktail in your hand because The Long Shot specialises in them too.
