Turncoat pops-up at Albert Dock

29th November, 2019

Get a sneak peak of Turncoat’s new basement gin bar at its pre-Christmas pop-up. Turncoat officially opens its doors after Christmas, but – by popular demand – is opening a pop-up in the bar’s entry, while work continues.

It stocks a full range of Turncoat spirits, alongside its artisan aromatic bitters, so head over to see what Turncoat has in store, and treat yourself to an Albert Dock gin

The Liverpool-based distillery created Albert Dock gin – which proved one of the highlights of our FEAST festival in September and completely sold out. Packed with juniper, coriander, angelica root, kaffir lime leaves and galangal root, it has a wasabi at the end to give it a spiced lift and is incredibly refreshing. We prefer it mixed with dry Indian tonic and a couple of slices of apple, but it’s also great in a Nolan Spritz cocktail with Aperol and Prosecco.

Turncoat is making the space underneath Revolucion de Cuba its new home, with a great range of gin drinks and wood fired pizzas on the side. Bringing a craft production approach to gin distilling, Turncoat has been winning legions of fans for its innovative spirits since it launched in 2017. Its traditional distillation process uses no colourings or flavourings, with everything made in small batches, by hand, in Liverpool.

Head over to stock up on gin for the festive period and keep an eye out for more information about the full launch in the new year. Open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am, from now until Christmas.
