‘Historic’ food in an historical setting.
Located in the Grade 1 listed Queen Elizabeth Hall in the heart of the Albert Dock and overlooking Liverpool’s iconic Three Graces.
What’s Cooking is the longest serving restaurant in the Albert Dock and proud of its contribution to the area’s hugely successful revitalisation.
Dishes are prepared to order from the finest, freshest ingredients provided by local suppliers.
House specialities include the tastiest hand crafted burgers, fall-off-the-bone barbecued ribs, and succulent grilled steaks.
We believe that our cocktails are the best value in town and “pack a real punch”.

SCRATCH-MADE COMFORT FOOD SINCE 1978...
Established for over 40 years, at What’s Cooking we must be doing something right– quality ingredients, imaginatively cooked in generous portions.
Popular beers, value wines, cool cocktails and the finest ethically-sourced coffee and teas.
Add to that an enviable view across the historic Albert Dock on the iconic Liverpool waterfront and dockside dining doesn’t get any better than this.
